1 Internship Program This SEU hosted one intern during this reporting period from the University of Texas who shadowed the KTCK Program Director and learned about audio editing, production techniques and preparing for radio shows and assisted the Program Director with these tasks.
2 Host/event program for educational institution relating to careers in broadcasting During the week of January 18th, 2010, this SEU hosted a student from White Rock Montessori School who shadowed representatives from the engineering, business, promotions and programming departments and learned about all aspects of the radio business.
3 Participate in event/program sponsored by an educational institution relating to careers in broadcasting. On September 25, 2009, this SEU participated in the Devry University Job Fair. The Business Manager and KTCK/KLIF-FM Promotion Manager attended and provided information to attendees about careers in broadcasting and job opportunities with the local CMP Stations.
4 Participate in event/program sponsored by an educational institution relating to careers in broadcasting On October 8, 2009, this SEU participated in the Eastfield College Job Fair. The KTCK/KLIF-FM Promotion Manager, KPLX/KLIF(AM) Promotion Manager, KPLX Program Director and KLIF(AM) Program Director attended and provided information to attendees about careers in broadcasting and job opportunities with the local CMP Stations.

5 Participate in event/program sponsored by an educational institution relating to careers in broadcasting On March 12, 2010, the KPLX/KLIF(AM) Promotion Director and the KTCK/KLIF-FM Promotion Director spoke at the National Broadcasting Society (Alpha Epsilon Rho) Convention. The SEU’s Program Directors presented information about careers in broadcasting promotion as well as tips on finding a job in radio as a college student.
6 Co-Sponsor Job Fair On March 30, 2010, this SEU co-media sponsored the NAACP Centennial Celebration Diversity Job Fair in Dallas. The Job Fair was held at the Embassy Suites – Market Center in Dallas, Texas. SEU participants included the Business Manager, KPLX/KLIF(AM) Promotion Director, KTCK Assistant Program Director, KTCK/KLIF-FM Promotion Director, and KLIF(AM) Program Director who provided information to attendees about careers in broadcasting and job opportunities within the Dallas SEU.
7 Participate in event/program sponsored by an educational institution relating to careers in broadcasting On March 30, 2010, the KLIF(AM) Program Director was a guest speaker for the RadioTelevision-Advertising-Public Relations Communications Program at the University of Texas at Arlington. Our Program Director presented information about radio formats, audience, and broadcasting career information along with tips on finding a job in radio as a college student.
